We, on the other hand, commiserate with the idea that sometimes you get so incredibly busy that updating your calendar might just get away from you. Hence, as we prepare to unveil The End of Our Website: 2012 or The New Beginning: 2013 (depending on your stance), we offer a brief teaser of what’s been going on with us over the past year. To avoid panic.

Not Even Nostradamus Predicted This Stuff.

We've been working like there’s no tomorrow. Which is a spooky thing to say, all of a sudden. And while we put little stock in 2012 predictions of doom (if we’re wrong – feel free to write and complain), the past six months have felt rather portentous for us on both the Winstanley and Learning Solutions Winstanley (LSW) sides of the business.

International Consumer Brand Launch:
Pelican ProGear & Peli ProGear

Beginning in late February, Winstanley worked to create a consumer brand for the established protective case and rugged lighting company, Pelican Products. In six short months, both Pelican ProGear and the corresponding Peli ProGear (overseas branch) were birthed from start to store. Winstanley was fully engaged in the new brand from naming and packaging to the creation of sales force materials, in-store POS, a new ecommerce website and an overall advertising initiative. Through the recruitment of four demographically diverse celebrity "Pelican Pro" endorsers, we formed a backbone for a sustainable campaign for continued leverage across all touchpoints from social media to network television and promotions in the future. And the adventure continues into 2013 with new product introductions and materials.

Industrial New Product Launch:
GE Energy Storage, Durathon Battery

Winstanley worked closely with GE to launch a solid sales platform for the introduction of their breakthrough industrial battery technology on a radical timeline. The Durathon Battery boasted specific advantages to a diverse target audience spanning multiple industries and potentially across multiple languages. The resulting website and print designs, therefore, deployed with an icon-driven storyline featuring simple animations with market-specific, interactive calculator tools resulting in contact links for further engagement.

New Identity & Product Launch:
Mevion Medical Systems

Together with Winstanley, Still River Systems became Mevion Medical Systems and then launched a two-stage introduction to their breakthrough proton therapy system. Introducing the new brand and product to the forefront of cancer treatment demanded a look and approach that suited the elegance, simplicity and accessibility of their machine. From clean, smart advertising to a new website, product brochure and trade materials – the face of Mevion is a progressive force in an industry ready to hear about a new way to overcome the former barriers to providing the proton therapy patients are seeking.

New York Office Opening: East Greenbush

In an ever-expanding universe, we didn’t want to feel left out. Actually, so much of our Learning Solutions Winstanley (LSW) success has come from just beyond our border that opening a branch to service those folks better was the next logical move. Now, we can offer full advertising, marketing and educational services like true New Yorkers – nearby and with sass. Winstanley 2012 New Hires

Most of 2012 (especially the second half) was marked by incredibly exciting and rather large-scale initiatives here at the agency. As a result, we recruited the finest talent we could – then locked them in for a few months to get to know each other. So far, so good!
